Built in 1886 - passenger service ceased in 1957- in 1989 was saved from
demolition by the Historical Society and turned into a museum. The depot
is open from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sundays in June-August, Founder's Day and by appointment

FIRST MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH

Built in early 1920 and continues to serve its mostly black congregation today.
Also used by the community who may reserve the community room for meetings,
parties and receptions.

TEMPLETON LOG CABIN
Located on the southeast corner of the Courthouse square in Liberty, IN
Built in 1805, along the Whitewater River by John Templeton who was one of the original settlers of this area, coming here from the Carolinas; moved to the
courthouse lawn for preservation by the Historical Society. It is open July 4th, Founders Day and by appointment.

WATER WORKS BUILDING MUSEUM

Purchased for the water works in 1895 and was only used as such until 1901.
After that it was used as a residence. Plans for the house are to store and
display local artists' work and serve as a site for various workshops. Genealogical
materials will be available at this location.
